Steve Thompson, MPT, OCS, CSCS, USA Triathlon Level 1 Certified Coach

Steve is the owner and operator of Sport and Spine Therapy of Marin, Inc which opened its doors in August 2006.  Steve earned his Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of California, Davis in 1992.  He then received his Master of Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland, CA in 1995.  Steve became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2003.  Most recently, Steve became certified as a USA Triathlon Level 1 Coach and became board certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2005.

 

Steve combines his passion for physical therapy and helping people recover from injuries with his love of sports to create a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation for all types of injuries.  In his spare time, he enjoys competing in triathlons, the Trans Tahoe Relay, and most of all, sharing time with his wife and two children.  Steve is a resident of San Anselmo and looks forward to contributing to the community.  Steve is also the co-owner of another excellent physical therapy clinic, Novato Back Care and Sports Physical Therapy.


Trina Mann, DPT

Prior to starting at Sport and Spine Therapy of Marin, Inc, Trina received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Chapman University located in Orange, California in 2006.  She returns to the Bay Area having received her undergraduate in Kinesiology from SF State.  Trina is also a bilingual therapist having served the pediatric community at Roberto Felix Foundation in Costa Rica during the summer of 2006.  Her future career plans include furthering her knowledge in exercise physiology and certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the APTA.  In her free time, Trina enjoys spending time with friends and family, surfing and traveling.
